Introduction
The BioGENEius Challenge is the flagship program of the Biotechnology Institute, an educational non-profit 501(c)3 serving students in grades 3-12.
The Biotechnology Institute aims to engage, excite, and educate as many people as possible about biotechnology. It educates young students about biotechnology's immense potential in healthcare, the economy, and environmental balance. It promotes excellence in biotechnology research from the best and brightest minds in the next generation of innovators. Its efforts unite the national biotechnology community, including students, teachers, schools, and mentors, in delivering more effective workforce development and training to sustain the industry's growth and impact.
The BioGENEius Challenge provides high school-age students with an opportunity to compete and be recognized for outstanding research in biotechnology.
