Ashiwel Undieh, PhD, is a Professor of Neuroscience and Pharmacology at the City University of New York (CUNY) School of Medicine. At CUNY, the Undieh Lab researches how abnormal dopamine signaling could lead to diagnostic tests and treatments for disorders including depression, addiction and neurotraumatic injury. Before his current position, Undieh was City College of New York’s (CCNY) Associate Provost for Research, where he oversaw and promoted research across the entire college. Undieh received the XSeed Award in 2021 for his work with platform nanotechnology for enhanced formulation and delivery of mRNA vaccines.
