Matt Feeley, JD, MA, is the Deputy Chief and Healthcare Fraud Coordinator, US Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of Florida Civil Division. In this role, Feeley leads a dedicated group of AUSAs, analysts and investigators as they investigate, prosecute and resolve some of the most important healthcare False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute enforcement actions in the United States.  He has led nationwide investigations and enforcement actions resulting in substantial settlements in the opioid, compounding pharmacy, and electronic health records contexts. From 2020-2021, Feeley also served as a criminal Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Oklahoma. Prior to joining the Department of Justice in 2017, Feeley was a commercial litigation and internal investigations partner with a major U.S. law firm. He is the recipient of the Executive Office of U.S. Attorneys Director's Award for Superior Performance by an Assistant United States Attorney (Civil) and his office's Karen Cross/Beranton Whisenant Award for exceptional performance and extraordinary achievements by an Assistant United States Attorney with fewer than four years of service. Feeley earned an undergraduate degree in government from Dartmouth College; a law degree, cum laude, from Boston College Law School; and a master's degree in international relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. He is a member of bar in the states of New York, Florida, Massachusetts and Illinois.
