What Investors Look for in Funding Women’s Health
Cure, a woman-led healthcare innovation ecosystem headquartered in New York City, in conjunction with the Deerfield Institute, took the pulse of industry leaders’ sentiments on women’s health. The results suggest that increased investment requires broadening the aperture of the investment case to one focused less on “traditional women’s health” to one focused on sex-linked differences in health. This would create an opportunity that both male and female entrepreneurs can seize, yielding health outcomes that ultimately benefit everyone.
