Elizabeth Hanson, PhD, writes about science and medicine for universities, disease-focused organizations, hospitals, foundations and museums. Her clients include The Rockefeller University and the American Museum of Natural History, and she was a reporter-researcher at *Discover* magazine.  Hanson earned a BS in chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Program in Science, Technology and Society, a MA from the Science, Health and Environmental Reporting Program at New York University and a PhD in the history and sociology of science from the University of Pennsylvania.
