Sherri Gordon, CLC, is an award-winning author, journalist, editor, and certified professional life coach.

### Experience 
Gordon specializes in taking complex health and science concepts and turning them into clear, accessible content that is easy to understand. An author of nearly 30 nonfiction books for young readers, her skills earned her an "Outstanding Science Trade Books for Students K-12" award for her book on food allergies.
Gordon also is a freelance health and parenting writer covering health, health news, mental health, social issues, relationships, sleep medicine, allergies, dermatology, parenting, ADHD, autism, and more. Her work has appeared in *Health*, *Parents*, *Understood*, *Verywell Health*, *Verywell Family*, *Verywell Mind*,*Verywell Fit*, *Columbus Parent*, and more. Gordon earned a Bachelor of Arts from Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio in public relations and speech communication with a minor in English. She also earned a Certificate of Completion from Ohio State's Patient and Community Peer Review Academy, where she frequently serves as a community reviewer for grant requests for health research. Gordon also is a member of the Association of Health Care Journalists.
