An author of nearly 30 nonfiction books for young readers, her skills earned her an "Outstanding Science Trade Books for Students K-12" award for her book on food allergies.
Gordon also is a freelance health and parenting writer covering health, health news, mental health, social issues, relationships, sleep medicine, allergies, dermatology, parenting, ADHD, autism, and more. Gordon also is a member of the Association of Health Care Journalists.
